Tips to Find Cheap Flights to Korea
Book 6–8 weeks ahead
International fares to Korea are typically cheapest when booked 6–8 weeks before departure. Last-minute prices spike significantly, especially around Seollal (Lunar New Year), Chuseok and summer holidays.
Domestic budget carriers
Jeju Air, Tway, Jin Air and Korean Air cover almost every domestic route and are often far cheaper — and more frequent — than connecting through your international carrier.
Fly into one, out of another
Open-jaw itineraries (e.g. fly into Seoul, out of Busan) often cost the same or less — and save you a backtracking domestic flight.
Know your Phu Quoc airport
Phu Quoc International (PQC) on the island's south side handles most flights. Plan a short taxi or hotel transfer to your resort — usually 10–30 minutes depending on the area.
